Fanfic, Fandom Writers – FAN/FIC Magazine

FAN/FIC Magazine will be launching by the end of the year, and we’re looking for freelance writers who are familiar with fanfic/fandom culture. $30 per accepted article. Minimum word length: 400. You’ll get a byline and bio. Ideally, I'm looking to develop a long-term relationship with anyone who joins the team. Our articles are conversational and warm. Humor is great, but authenticity is more important. Above all, we need writers who can generate mature, well-informed discussions on topics related to fanfic/fanart and the greater fandom culture as a whole. Our about statement: FAN/FIC is an online magazine for fanfic readers and writers. We publish compelling articles and personal essays about fandom culture, practical advice on how to improve your craft, and interviews with people in the community. We’ll also spotlight the best fanfic pieces we find along the way, because great writing should always be celebrated. Our website is still under construction, but you can find out more information about the kinds of content we're looking for here: http://fanslashfic.tumblr.com/post/129801597484/were-hiring-freelance-writers-to-join-our-team
