Qualifications:
● Knowledge of Southern business, arts, cultural, sports and political topic areas.
● Ability to research and understand new topics quickly.
● Ability to write longer posts/articles as well as short excerpts and social media posts.
● Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
● Previous journalism, creative writing, blogging, community management or content creation experience a must.
● Eligible candidate should be completely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress blogging platform.
● Working knowledge of social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr.
Rate is consummate with experience.
