Practical Publishing, one of the UK’s leading craft magazine publishers, is seeking an Editorial Assistant to join its busy and creative team.
The successful candidate will work across several monthly craft magazines, assisting the Editors in all aspects of magazine production.
Key roles will include organising competitions and giveaways, processing reader submissions, writing news and promotional pages, subbing copy from external designers, building up a network of PR contacts, dealing with reader inquiries on the phone and via email, and keeping social media networks up to date with engaging content.
This role would suit a highly organised and efficient person seeking their first step in a career in consumer magazines.
