Occasions Media Group is currently seeking a few enthusiastic team players, well versed in writing and editing to join our team as a Freelance Writers in St. Augustine, FL for our city magazine, St. Augustine Social.
As a Freelance Writer you will work closely with the Editor to write and produce a variety of articles for our website and print magazine. Content topics include: St. Augustine living, shopping, dining, real estate, local people, business, hobbies and events. The ideal candidate lives in St. Augustine, loves writing and is committed to telling compelling stories.
Responsibilities Include:
Write, edit, and produce at least 1 online article a week (300-400 words each)
Write, edit and produce at least 2 print articles per issue (500 – 1,500 words each)
Pitch article ideas relative to title assigned to them.
Compensation varies between pay per post and $.25 per word depending on the project
