My client is an expanding, fast paced Tech start-up based in Central London; they are currently recruiting for an exceptional candidate for their Content Editor & Writer vacancy, to work on their premier website within the editorial team.

This is an excellent role and would suit a pro-active, experienced Content Editor & Writer looking for a varied position. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the day-to-day-running of the site.

The Content Editor & Writer position involves:

• Editing and approving site copy
• Manage all site content and uploading it via the CMS
• Managing the workload of a team of writers and on-boarding them
• Writing site copy when required
• Assisting in content generation
• Coordinate with senior managers and Design team with regards to site imagery
• Report and analyse data to identify trends

The ideal candidate for the Content Editor & Writer role will be

• A graduate or graduated calibre, with a strong academic background
• 2-3 years experience of editing/writing online content
• Experience of managing a team of remote writers is an advantage, as is previous experience of working for a news desk
• Able to adapt to a new CMS and other software, along with good IT skills in general
• Experience of working with high volume content in the following sectors is a distinct advantage: property, travel, commercial property, commercial travel
• Highly analytical and detail focused
• Experienced in working in an online environment
